Our Testing Labs
We have well equipped laboratories for full fledged testing of product specimens and our Kolkata & Vadodara laboratories are accredited by NABL. We have our laboratories in eight cities, besides Kolkata, namely Kanpur, Nagpur, Goa, Chennai, Vadodara, Kota, Noida and Secunderabad. The areas covered under testing include strength, elongation, mass, oil content (for jute), dart impact test, filler (CaCO3) content, Ultra-Violet Resistance and thickness of films.
We would hereby like to introduce ourselves as one of the leading names in India in the field of pre-shipment inspection and testing of HDPE /PP/Jute made bags, LDPE/LLDPE stretch films, FIBC, tarpaulins etc. that are used by various industries for packaging purposes – fertilizers, cement, petroleum, sugar and agricultural industries being the major ones. Presently we are inspecting near about 200 crores bags per anumn on behalf of our various clients. Regarding export jobs, we are inspecting about 50 containers per month to be dispatched to various parts of the world.
Besides inspection, we are providing consultancy services for standardisation of bag testing at units for which we are conducting workshop at cement factories. We have provided such service to all the units of Ambuja, Ultratech and helped them to establish their standard test method. We are regularly visiting the different cement factories to address the disputes arises on quality issues. Even the giant PP manufacturer like Reliance sent Mr. Basu to Russia to sort out the various dispute on quality issue of the PP bags and fabric exported by Reliance.

We are an ISO 9001: 2015 as well as BIS certified organization and are having a Pan India presence. We have our establishments conveniently located near ports due to which we are able to arrange for inspections conducted by the well-qualified inspecting personnel we have, at the cheapest rate possible, and in the shortest possible time. At present we are having branches at 15 cities besides our H.O. in Kolkata, namely Guwahati, Kanpur, Nagpur, Goa, Vapi, Indore, Chennai, Vadodara, Noida, Mumbai, Kota, Bangalore, Raipur, Secunderabad and Jaipur. We are pleased to announce that now we are also accredited and recognized by Beureau of Indian Standards [BIS] and as such, we are now one of the BIS certified inspection and testing houses in India.

ABOUT OUR FOUNDER & MANAGING DIRECTOR
Mr. A K Basu has been working in the field of textile technology since 1970 and his works are on the field of quality assurance, introduction of in- process quality checking, testing of textile packaging materials, formulation of working standards of packaging materials as required for packaging of product etc. He is presently the MD of one of the leading Inspection and Test houses in India in the field of packaging materials which he established in the year 1975. During those days Jute bag was the only mode of packing for cement, fertilizers, sugar and food grain and he had a major role in transition of packaging from natural fibre to present synthetic woven fabric. He was instrumental in formulation of specifications for bags for cement industries during transition from jute to poly jute to HDPE 8X8 mesh to PP 10X10 mesh bags. L&T and Grasim Industries who were the major buyer of cement bags besides ACC for whom Inspection Syndicate being their inspection agency helped them during the transition and standardisation.
Mr. Basu is also the member of BIS committee of TX-23 and actively working on the revision of IS: 11652 (Woven Sacks for packing Cement). He has also taken initiative in formulating the standards of LPP bags for packing cement also and the draft has already been circulated for comments.
